Get ready to swap out your go-to Italian dinner. In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—pops a scalp cyst filled with textured, white goop. After watching this removal, you’ll never look at cheese ravioli the same way again.

In the clip, Dr. Lee makes an incision into the bulbous growth and then pushes down for a firm squeeze. A ribbon of chunky, textured goop comes out, looking something like an exploding cheese ravioli. Once drained, Dr. Lee then goes back in to the incision retrieve the cyst’s sac. Removing this part of the cyst completely virtually guarantees the growth is gone for good, which is what the patient wants. And once removed, the sac looks something like a wad of chewed pink gum.

During the procedure, the patient actually video chats with a loved one who remarks at how “cool” the pop is. Yes, that’s right. This patient phoned a friend to watch in real time.

“We have become quite a weird bunch, haven’t we?” Dr. Lee says in reaction to the unconventional viewing party.

Pilar cysts are growths on the scalp that contain excess keratin, which is the protein that makes up your hair and nails. They are benign, and usually are not painful.
